Dream it.
Advice on child centred Education.
Child centred education focuses on the needs, interests and abilities of the child rather then the curriculum preferences.
Personalised Learning - Tailor education to individual learning style and needs. This can involve differentiating instruction, providing various resources and allowing students to explore topics that interest them.
Active Learning - Encourage hands-on, experimental learning where children can engage with the material in a meaningful way. This could include group projects, experiments and real-world problem solving.
Holistic Development - Focus on the emotional, social and cognitive development of each child. This means providing support not just for academic success but over well-being.
Student Choice - Allow students to have a say in what they learn and how they learn it. This can increase motivation and engagement.
Collaborative Environment - Foster a culture that values collaboration and mutual respect. Encourage group work and peer learning.
Flexibility - Be adaptable in methods and approaches. Each child learns differently, so flexibility in how material is presented and assessed can be beneficial.
By focusing on these aspects, child-centred education aims to create a learning environment that is engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's unique needs
